Fight to End Cruelty Worldwide

Global Cat Day is October 16, when advocates around the world join Alley Cat Allies as we lead the charge to protect and improve cats’ lives.

In 2022, we’re taking the fight to end cruelty to cats worldwide. Compassion for cats knows no borders, and neither does Alley Cat Allies’ work to protect cats and kittens. We fight harmful acts against cats in any form, whether individual acts of cruelty or deeply entrenched institutional cruelty by shelters, parks, or local governments.

Stopping cruelty to cats requires everything from boots-on-the-ground work to policy change in the highest houses of government. We can do it all, together.

How Alley Cat Allies is Fighting Cruelty to Cats

Our critical campaigns to end cruelty to cats span across the United States and around the world.

Stand Against Animal Cruelty

Cruelty to cats is happening around the country and the world. Though some cases are publicized, they are far too rarely investigated or prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

We need to come together now behind a simple message: Every cat deserves justice, and every life matters. Cruelty to cats must be taken gravely and seriously.
