My wife and I went to the W. Los Angeles Animal Shelter looking for a cat after 2 of our 5 cats died within 10 days. There were not that many cats/kittens there. There was a kitten sitting quietly in a cage. I put my finger in the cage and he gently put his mouth around it. I decided to take him.

He is thriving in our house. The adult cats find him a bit much at times since he plays with everything, including their tails. After a few weeks they have adjusted to each other. He is assured a loving, safe life.
