My neighbor took in a pregnant cat. We took two of the kittens so they wouldn’t go to a shelter, and they are thriving.

The other thing I do is make “Snuggles” (basically a mat for the bottom of the cages) for shelters. They’re fun to make and I think the cats get some comfort from them.
