Mandalore (or Mandy) was one of two community cats abandoned at my apartment complex. She had two sets of kittens last year (one right before Hurricane Irma) before I was able to convince the management that Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) was the best solution and found two awesome people to help me with the process. The male, Fett, was taken in by another resident before she moved in May leaving, skittish Mandy by herself. I’ve worked on socializing her, and she’s become such a sweet kitty greeting me with meows and rubs every morning and afternoon. She even loves to play hide and seek.
