One of my neighbors moved after feeding feral cats, but not having them neutered or spayed. She left all the cats behind. I set out traps for the kitties, had them all spayed or neutered, whatever the case was and released them by my horse barn. I put beds in the tack room and hay room for them, toys and treats and I’m feeding them with my horses and dogs. They all have names and are loved. Over the years some of the cats decided to move into the house and they became the sweetest pets. I can pet all the cats now, however, some of them decided they wanted to live in the barn. Everybody is fed and they all know they are loved.
